Lina (she was supposed to be like 10 or below, instead of 14-15): Mara (she looks liek a goddamn cultivator): Here's her current one in case you forgot after not seeing her for a while (?): From Chapter 4 on, where we meet them for the first time, Noa was originally supposed to go to some bakery or shit, and after coming back, he was supposed to see Mara lying on the ground, killed by his classmates (or someone else) who came to Thalaor that day. Then he fights them, kills them, and while he himself is dying on the ground with Lina crying beside him, that's when Vionette was supposed to appear. The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Another thing I thought of doing was having some dude—a knight or an adventurer—be friends with the Ravel family even before Noa got adopted. Then after Noa comes back from somewhere, Lina and Mara were supposed to be killed by that man they were friends with, leaving only a note for Noa written in their blood. Then I thought: what is this "villains always fucking up things the MC has and the MC finally getting revenge" ahh plot?

Why would I give such cruelty to my beautiful, gorgeous, such righteous, absolutely devoted readers? So what if I do a plot where the MCs become the ones torturing the protagonists? What if we get to see the other side of the story? And so, walla, the villainous power couple shit was established.

"But SomeWritter, won't it be better to have Noa's family get killed to make him more evil and give a reason why he is like that?" Here's my answer: Why the fuck would they need a reason to be evil?! I don't need fucking character development for my MCs, Imma just make this so slope to the point you can't even hate it.
