The capsule hissed as it opened, and I pulled off the VR helmet with a satisfied sigh. My body felt stiff from the session. It might not have been as long as my encounter with the Elder Stag, but it was definitely much more physically intense. I should sleep. The summons was at 8. 00 am IGT. According to my cooldown period, I could log in at 7: 48 am, so I had twelve minutes to report in. I'm definitely not going to do any exploring before that. There weren't many players in the city of Tidemark yet.
Out of the 2, 000 adventurers around a hundred had reached level 16 by the time I finished the tournament in Oakenlight. Maybe a hundred and fifty, tops. Still, I really wanted to see what the city held for us. Even if I couldn't land any personal quests, I was sure there was a lot going on in the Jewel of the North Coast. I was about to go for a quick shower when my eyes stopped at the tablet next to my bed. Sleep could wait a few more minutes.
I grabbed it from the nightstand and opened the Godsrealm Companion app, the familiar interface loading with its distinctive blue and gold trim. The homepage was alive with activity, with thousands of players sharing their experiences from the first week. Starting from tomorrow, I will be able to access the forum for the whole Kingdom. I will see what Ryder is up to. For now, I opened the Silverwing forums to check on things. The recruitment posts dominated the front page.
📋 Godsrealm Forums › SILVERWING › recruitment RECRUITMENT King's Glade - Silverwing's strongest guild is recruiting! Phantom ·8 hours ago To all adventurers of Silverwing, King's Glade is seeking skilled, dedicated players who share our vision: to build the strongest, most respected guild in the region, and later, the kingdom. We are ambitious, but back it up with results. King's Glade's primary team is currently in Silverwing's county, while our secondary unit is building up in Serendine.
The two teams together had killed 7 Field Bosses on week 1. Outside of the 18 Field Bosses that have been slain in the county of Silverwing, King's Glade had killed 5. In Serendine, 11 Field Bosses have been slain. Two of them were by our secondary team. There is no other group as of now that comes close to these results in the whole region.
Our core values: - Excellence in both PvE and PvP - Mutual respect and support among members - Strategic growth over rapid expansion - Fair distribution of resources and leadership opportunities Current membership: 247 players across Silverwing region pre-registered Leadership structure: Established, with proven raid leaders and PvP coordinators Requirements: Level 12+ If you're interested in joining, look for these people in your respective county: Phantom, Silverwing region, Silverwing county Alice, Silverwing region, Serendine county Lux, Silverwing region, Stonebridge county Stone, Silverwing region, Tidemark county If you're from any of the other counties, message either me or Alice in private, and we'll come to you for evaluation.
Thanks for reading, Phantom, Guild Leader 👍 3, 847 💬 711 replies The comment section was overwhelmingly positive. Players praised Phantom's leadership in previous games, shared stories about successful raids they'd run with King's Glade members, and debated the pros and cons of joining a large guild versus staying independent. One comment caught my eye: 💬 Comments TerraShield: Just ran a dungeon with three KG members. The most professional group I've been in so far.
No drama, clear communication, smooth execution. If that's the standard, I'm applying. King's Glade definitely looked like a great option for anyone who wanted to improve. Stone's invitation echoed in my mind. This was a real opportunity, the kind most players would jump at without hesitation. So why was I hesitating? I scrolled down to the next major recruitment post. 📋 Godsrealm Forums › SILVERWING › RECRUITMENT RECRUITMENT Crimson Court - Join us to DOMINATE the Kingdom!
Skull · 11 hours ago Crimson Court is expanding into Godsrealm. We dominated in Knighthood. We'll dominate here. What we offer: - Organized PvP groups and territory control strategies - Priority access to guild resources and crafting materials - Protection from rival guilds - Fast-track to endgame content What we require: - Level 12+ - Loyalty - Skill - Commitment to the guild's goals Current membership: 400+ and growing Leadership: Experienced officers from Knighthood, proven track record.
"The Court is gathering strength. Join now or face us later. Skull, Guild Master 👍 1, 923 💬 1, 048 replies The comment section was... mixed, to put it mildly. 💬 Comments Freewind88: Crimson Court ruined Knighthood for small guilds. They are going to do the same thing here. Mark my words. BladeRunner: Say what you want, but they get results. If you want to compete at the highest level, CC is the way. KnightOfHonor: I was in Crimson Court during Knighthood. Left because the leadership was toxic.
All they care about is numbers and control, not the actual players. Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on Royal Road. Melissa_Bright: Lorrando tried to PK me and my friend yesterday near Ravenmere (Tidemark). These guys are griefers, nothing more. IronFist92: Court has structure and organization. That matters more than being 'nice.' This is a competitive game. STOP BEING PUSSIES.
SylphTheRanger: I'd recommend everyone to watch the VODs from the Oakenlight tournament, to see who they're getting in bed with. Also, if you're there, check out my top 16 match against Crimson Court's golden boy, Lorrando. Bring snacks! Court_Lorrando: Fuck off. The debate raged on for hundreds of replies, players arguing about whether Crimson Court's aggressive tactics were justified or problematic.
I noticed several mentions of the Oakenlight incident where Lorrando had been humiliating his opponent, with players taking sides on whether his behavior was acceptable. I should watch some of the VODs before tomorrow. It was only a bit past 8 pm, so I had plenty of time and even then I could get 8 hours of sleep. But first, I briefed over all the other recruitment posts, paying extra attention to some of the bigger ones.
Midnight Sun's post focused heavily on PvE content, advertising themselves as a raiding guild with an emphasis on world-first kills and min-maxing strategies. Their recruitment post was technical, listing specific class compositions they were looking for and detailing their loot distribution system. They seemed well versed, but fell behind the posts of the other two guilds, just like Stormfall and Oathkeepers.
Stormfall seemed more PvP-oriented, already claiming they'd secured a foothold in several counties of the region, including Furrowhold, Salt Throne and Highrise. Oathkeepers took a middle path, presenting themselves as a "heroic" guild dedicated to helping NPCs, completing story quests, and exploring the lore of Godsrealm. Their recruitment post had fewer replies but seemed to attract more roleplay-focused players.
If I remembered correctly, the tournament casters, Shieldbreaker, Virtune and Thorax were also future members of Oathkeepers. All strong options, with different philosophies. I wanted to move to the VODs but then I noticed something new, a post that had just crept up to the front page of the Tidemark sub. I clicked at it immediately.
📋 Godsrealm Forums › SILVERWING › TIDEMARK › recruitment RECRUITMENT Second Wind - Tidemark's Own Blue · 1 hour ago Fellow adventurers of Tidemark, After watching the Oakenlight Tournament and talking with many of you, we have realized something: our county has incredible talent. It's entirely possible that the other counties don't have as much firepower as we do here, in Tidemark. While the big guilds recruit across the entire region, we have an opportunity to build something different.
Second Wind will be Tidemark-first. A guild built by locals, for locals. If you want to keep your base of operations in Tidemark primarily, we would like to invite you to join us! This doesn't mean you have to stay in the county all the time; everyone's free to explore the regions and kingdoms whenever the opportunity arises. But we want to make sure that whenever you need it, you will have a home to come back to. Our goal isn't to compete with King's Glade or Crimson Court for regional dominance.
Our goal is to make Tidemark the strongest county in Silverwing, to ensure that when other regions look at us, they see a united force of exceptional players. Regarding leadership: The Blade of the Sea himself, Athos has agreed to serve as Guild Master. I'll be handling recruitment and coordination. We're currently in talks with several top Tidemark players to fill officer positions. Philosophy: Quality over quantity.
We want players who know the area, who've built relationships with the local NPCs, who understand the unique opportunities Tidemark offers. Current membership: 23 founding members Requirements: Level 10+, primary activity in Tidemark county (I will be posting this to the Silverwing forum as well, so anyone wanting to move counties can join us) For now, we only accept members from Tidemark. In the future, this can change, but we want a strong core of Tidemark players to form our team.
This isn't about being the biggest. It's about being the best at what we do, where we do it. Write me a message if you're interested in joining! Blue, Second Wind Officer 👍187 💬 94 replies The comments were mostly enthusiastic. 💬 Comments Harrow_DH: Finally! I'm tired of being treated like a number by the big guilds. Count me in! LukeStride: Athos as GM? I'm sold. That guy's a beast. TrueProdigy: You're just limiting yourselves by focusing on one county only. ElVerdugo89: Is hermosa Seraphina joining?
If so, you can count on Los Asesinos! Danzaburou1337: Love the local focus! Let me speak to my group, I think we might have some deals to make here!......... Danzaburou1337: Already talked with Athos and Blue. The Carpa Crafter Group will also join Second Wind, and we are offering great discounts and deals to anyone wanting to find a home in the guild! If the Carpa Crafter Group™ joins Athos' guild, they will have supreme craftsmen at hand to complete whatever they needed, I thought.
Honestly, if they gather a good 200-300 players from Tidemark, they could even be a regional powerhouse with this setup. I was happy for both Athos and my crafter friends; a partnership like this was sure to benefit both sides. I just hoped Danza and the crew will keep giving me the friends discount as well, even if I don't join. I bookmarked the post and moved on to the rest of the Tidemark subforum itself. The front page was dominated by several topics, but one thread in particular had exploded with activity.
📋 Godsrealm Forums › SILVERWING › TIDEMARK › OTHERS OTHER Fang Forest Cave System - Three Dungeons?! Explorer_Tom · 14 hours ago Okay, so remember those caves near Carpa, in Fang Forest? Turns out they are dungeons, and somehow, they are connected. And they're insane.
My group spent the last two days exploring, along with many other groups, and here's what we found: The caves are sort of like open dungeons in Knighthood: they are not instanced, and anyone could enter at any time, either to help or to sabotage parties already inside.
However, all three of them have a puzzle that grants you access to a deeper part, and those parts are working as normal, instanced dungeons, meaning any parties entering will be teleported to separate instances, and any number of parties can try at the same time. So, you know, normal dungeon stuff. At least we think based on the system message, since we couldn't solve the puzzle and get the key to these parts. Anyway.
CAVE ONE (Western cave): - Requires solving ancient mechanisms to open doors - Monsters: between level 22 and 24, they are shadowy cats and tigers, and many other animals, but it's insanely dark in there and torches run out with extreme speed so we couldn't confirm all of them. - We got stuck at the second chamber. There's a rotating pillar puzzle that we couldn't figure out before getting wiped.
- First chamber's puzzle is pretty simple: SPOILER - We killed 2 normal monsters (barely) with a party of 6, ranging from levels 12 to 14. Great experience, but they weren't skinnable.
No item drops, but 2 is a small sample size to say anything CAVE TWO (Middle cave): - Undead theme, skeleton warriors, archers, mages, very annoying (level 21-23) - Heavy on combat, less on puzzles, the first puzzle came in the third chamber, but by that time we aggrod so many mobs we couldn't take a closer look at it - It was some kind of a burial chamber, but we got wiped in seconds CAVE THREE (Northern cave): - This one's WEIRD - Monsters look like a mix between spiders and ancient warriors? Hard to describe.
- Level 23-25 - The architecture is different too - looks Mayan or Aztec inspired - Tons of traps. Lost two party members to spike pits before we even saw a monster - Found what looks like an altar room with some kind of offering mechanic, but we couldn't figure it out before getting wiped All three caves seem to connect somehow - all have the same marks all around the caves. Anyone else exploring these? Let's share info! 👍 736 💬 189 replies The comments were a goldmine of additional information.
Players reported different puzzle solutions they'd tried, shared sketches of monster attack patterns, and debated whether the caves were intended for level 20+ groups or if there was a way to complete them at lower levels with strategy. I made a mental note. It might be time to revisit those caves, soon. I didn't forget the feeling when I first entered the northern cave. Something strong was down there. But I got stronger too.
Just as I was about to close the forums, a new post had popped up, at the very front screen, and my blood froze. 📋 Godsrealm Forums › OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS ANNOUNCEMENT DEVELOPER UPDATE - PATCH NOTES, MARCH 17TH, 2042 NWE_Marshal ·9 seconds ago 👍13, 428 💬 41 replies
