Chương 57: Han Vs Konoha's Team

As Shunsui took out his swords after activating his Shikai, he was forced to block the bulky Iwa genin and his attack with a kunai. Shunsui held his ground even though the Iwa genin was much bigger and stronger looking. The force of the attack pushed Shunsui back a few steps on the dirt path, but he did not lose his balance. It seemed like all the physical training as well as the weight training has helped him physically already.

"You are ours, Konoha genin," the Iwa genin said with a grin. His voice was full of confidence as if he already believed victory was certain for his side. He thought taking down this young shinobi from Konoha would be easy because of his size and power. The bulky fighter pressed forward, trying to use his strength to overwhelm Shunsui quickly. Genma and Guy were too attacked by each of the Iwa genin at the same time. Inoichi was dealing with the other jonin from Iwa in a separate part of the battlefield.

The entire Konoha team was now fully engaged in combat against the Iwa forces who wanted to eliminate them after losing the alliance. Shunsui looked at his sensei Choza who was struggling against Han. The large man was doing his best but the jinchuriki was proving to be very difficult with all the steam power boosting his attacks. Shunsui decided it was time to end his own fight fast so he could help his sensei.

"I have no time to deal with you, little bug," Shunsui said in his usual lazy tone.

"Bug.... me? Did you see your own size... it's..." The Iwa genin could not complete his sentence because Shunsui acted too quickly for him to finish talking. Shunsui spun on his heels releasing wind blades at point blank range that cut through the Iwa genin's limbs. He muttered "Bushogama" as he did this move. The Iwa genin looked in painful shock. His brain had not even processed what happened and Shunsui was not in the mood to hear his painful shout.

With another spin and swing of his sword and with another wind blade, the Iwa genin's head was cut off. The body fell to the ground with a heavy thud, ending that fight completely. He wanted to bring his Shikai's special ability into play to help turn the battle in their favor. Choza who saw what Shunsui had done to the Iwa genin realised what game Shunsui had activated on the battlefield. Choza expanded both of his hands with partial expansion jutsu and started spinning. To even divert his opponent from Shunsui's technique he said "Wind Style: Human tornado."

Huge wind blades formed that came together to form a tornado that enveloped Han and had him spinning up in the sky bombarding him with wind blades constantly. Han was caught in the center of the spinning force, but he did not look worried. He weaved hand signs quickly while being tossed around.

"Wind style: Giant breakthrough," he called out. He fired a large gust of wind with so much chakra that it created an opposite wind direction that cancelled out the winds of the tornado. Han landed back on the ground Steam still rose from his body as he stood tall.

"Wind release...? I thought you were an Earth and fire release user. Iwa would have to update from bingo book," Han muttered. He sounded annoyed that the information about Choza was not complete. It showed that Konoha shinobi could still surprise their enemies with new skills.

"What can I say.... I am a man of many talents," Choza said with a large grin. Han did not like that grin so he decided to punch Choza hard. Choza used his expanded hand to block the punch but he did feel the force of the punch as each of Han's attacks was backed by the pressure of steam that was released by him and empowered the force of his attacks. The impact pushed Choza back slightly, but he held his position well.

As both of them were dueling it out with punches and blocks, Shunsui had decided to change the games. He focused his mind and prepared his next technique carefully.

'Kageokuri.' Shunsui stared at his shadow on the ground. Han who was busy dueling it out saw the boy with strange clothes had come a lot closer to them.

'Lets kill the kid so that his sensei would be put off his game with emotions,' With that thought in mind, Han punched in the air that released a blast of raging hot steam at the boy. The attack was fast and powerful with hot steam that could burn anything it touched. The boy's body completely melted on the spot as he had a horrified expression on his face when the steam passed him.

Han nodded at the results but was surprised when the melted face then stared at him with a wide grin that sent shivers down Han's spine.

'What the.....' It was him that was caught off guard as Choza's chakra enhanced punch connected to his guts, breaking a few ribs. It was his turn to be sent flying through trees, creating a lot of dust and sand as he crashed. Choza had already been relayed what was going on through Inoichi.

'It is just a genjutsu or well... Shunsui's shadow. He is fine.. he is fine.' Choza tried to reassure himself. He felt worried for a second when he saw the attack on Shunsui but the telepathy from Inoichi helped him stay calm and strike at the right moment. Shunsui had told Inoichi after Inoichi had connected them with his telepathy while battling his opponent, 'Inoichi san I can help you with my games even if I am not yet ready to fight at this level.
