Chương 210: Chapter 211: Armoured White Dragon

"Genocidal Herpolisk scum." The beautiful Phoenix woman said in anger as she shot fire from her wings at him.

"Hahaha, soon your heart will be mine, Phoenix bitch." The Herpolisk leader laughed in return as he spewed acidic green poison.

"Don't count on it, bastard. I would rather burn my own heart to ashes than let you get it." The Herpolisk leader's face showed alarm after hearing that before angrily saying, "You won't even get the chance bitch." The fight between the two leaders intensified as their squads also clashed fiercely. Unfortunately, the Herpolisk squad far outnumbered the Phoenix Squad, and they soon began to gain the upper hand. You would have thought the Phoenix race would have the advantage in numbers on their own planet.

Unfortunately, the Phoenix hunts over the years had brought their race to the brink of extinction. Soon, members of the Phoenix squad started to die because several Herpolisks grouped up on them. Before their rebirth cycle could begin, though, one of the Herpolisks quickly approached the dead Phoenix and dug out its heart before storing it away.

"Give up, Phoenix bitch, your squad is dying, and soon you will be dead beside them. Surrender, and I will make it quick and painless. The beautiful Phoenix woman was about to angrily reply when she was suddenly cut off.

"RRROOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR." A mighty roar came from the direction of the crashed ship, causing all those fighting to pause and look in the direction of the ship and what they saw stunned them. A mighty white dragon stood proudly atop the ship, staring down at them all. Upon close inspection, they saw that the white dragon appeared to be wearing some kind of armour.

"A white dragon!" The Phoenix beauty said in surprise. 💫💫💫 Tephe left the upper hatch of Spector and emerged on top of her before proceeding to the edge of the ship and looking down to see the Phoenix and Herpolisk squads fighting.

"Fucking Herpolisk bastards," Tephe growled in anger before she began to transform. Her body lengthened and expanded as giant dragon wings emerged from her back. Her face changed into a dragon's maw, while her legs and arms thickened and extended, and her hands and feet changed into large claws as a thick tail emerged behind her.

As Tephe changed into her true dragon form, the anti-gravity armour changed with her until she was completely covered in white scale-like armour except for her wing membranes, which were now the same blue as her eyes, and her chest continued to glow. She fell forward onto all fours before she took in a deep breath and let out a loud dragon's roar. [Superhearofangirl (Earth): OMG, she looks so fucking cool.] [SciFifanboy (Earth): That's so fucking Sci-Fi.] [AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): She looks so impressive.] [Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): The armour really did morph with her.] 💫💫💫 Adam arrived in the hangar bay of Spector and proceeded towards Spector Unit Six, which was a large black mech that had orange highlights. [SciFifanboy (Earth): OH MY GOD! THAT IS SO FUCKING SCI-FI] [Animefangirl (Earth): No, THAT'S SO FUCKING ANIME.] [Whostolemyduck (Earth): Oh, gods, there are two of them now.] [Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): The streamer has his own mech now?] [Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Mechs really do exist in the universe.] [Animefangirl (Earth): Mechs, fuck yeah.] The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. [Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): That thing looks awesome, I love the colour scheme.] [Lizziethetruepower (Palalxia): Look at those shoulder cannons.] The mech had a humanoid shape and was primarily black, though it had orange and grey highlights.

The majority of the orange sections were triangular spikes that attached to the shoulders and the rear waist, making it look like it had some sort of butt-cape. It has a long tail that was thicker and more spiked than the one on Adam's anti-gravity armour. Each shoulder mounted two large cannons. As Adam approached Spector Unit 6, a compartment in the chest section opened, and he activated his armour's anti-gravity drive and flew up to the hatch.

Inside the hatch was a seat that Adam sat down in after landing at the entrance. After he got comfy, the hatch closed and sealed before it morphed to show the outside like a viewscreen. Several holographic screens of different shapes and sizes appeared, showing stats for the mech as well as controls. On either side of the seat were joysticks that had several buttons, triggers and thumbsticks, while his feet rested on two foot pedals. [[Unable to use launch catapult as the exit is buried in the earth. Recommend you exit via the docking bay hatch.]] [StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Lame, I wanted to watch him launch out of the ship.] [Animefangirl (Earth): That would have been so Anime.] After listening to Spector, Adam gripped a joystick with each hand and, using one of the thumbsticks, he had Spector Unit 6 walk towards the docking bay's hatch, which started to open. [Superhearofangirl (Earth): It's moving, it's moving.] [AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Such a geek.] As he reached the hatch, Adam stopped using the thumb stick and gently pressed his right foot down on the foot pedal, causing the anti-gravity drive to kick in and causing Spector Unit 6 to float into the air before he pressed his foot further down, and it shot out of Spector. 💫💫💫"What the hell is a dragon doing here?" A Herpolisk asked in surprise.

"The more important question is, why is a white dragon here?"

"I want to know why it looks like it's wearing armour."

"Focus, you fuckers and assume a defensive formation." The Herpolisk leader ordered. Over with the Phoenix squad, a member asked.

"Leader, why is a white dragon here?"

"Did you hear anything about the dragons coming to help us, leader?"

"I did not; those Herpolisk bastards have been blocking all outgoing communications, including our access to the universal subspace network, since their invasion began." The leader answered. The Phoenix and Herpolisk squads started to separate into their own groups again as they both watched the dragon carefully and waited to see what it would do. Suddenly, they saw a black blur with an orange tint shoot out of the ship and fly up next to the dragon.

As it hovered next to the dragon, they saw a large black mech with orange tints the likes of which they had never seen before.

"Wow, that thing is super cool," Tephe said as she admired Adam's mech.

"Thanks, you look awesome," Adam replied through the mech's speakers.

"Hehe," Tephe replied while puffing her chest out proudly.

"Fuck, the outside temperature is so fucking hot," Adam remarked as he saw the temperature feedback that Spector Unit 6 gave him.

"What do you expect? It's the home planet of fire birds," Tephe remarked.

"I thought planets were controlled by weather control tech to make them suitable for almost all races?" [[The Universal 972 is before the weather control tech was invented. So only those races and species that can handle the heat, such as the Phoenix and Herpolisk, can walk around freely on the planet with protective gear.]]"I understand the Phoenix race since they are fire birds, as Tephe called them, but why the Herpolisk?

Is it because they are cold-blooded like snakes on Earth and move around more when it's warmer?" [[Affirmative]]"Is that so? I guess it makes sense then." Adam replied before asking.

"So shall we deal with these Herpolisks before we split up?"

"I thought you'd never ask," Tephe replied happily before launching herself from the top of Spector and diving downwards towards the Herpolisk squad, who started to panic slightly at the sight of the dragon diving at them.

"Defensive positions, attack the dragon." The Herpolisk leader ordered quickly. All of the Herpolisks started spitting out globs of acidic green poison towards Tephe, who flapped her wings, allowing herself to nimbly dodge to the side and avoid the attack before she landed between a few of the Herpolisk squad members. Tephe raised an armour claw and swept it in a large arc, which managed to hit many of the Herpolisk squad members and send them flying.

While some of them managed to survive the hit, they were still sent flying far away, making it impossible for them to return to their squad quickly. After she finished her claw swipe, Tephe used the momentum she had gained to spin herself around, causing her long tail to shoot around like a whip, catching even more Herpolisks off guard and either killing them or flinging them far away. [Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Talk about nimble.] [AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Wow, look at them go, she's knocking them out of the ballpark.] [DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Dragons might look slow and clumsy at first sight, but don't let their size fool you, they're very quick and agile when they want to be.] By this time, the Herpolisk squad leader and others outside her melee attack range had launched another volley of acidic green poison that managed to hit her.

Just as they revelled in their triumph, they were shocked to discover that the acidic green poison failed to even leave a mark on Tephe or the armour she wore. [Superhearofangirl (Earth): Oh no, she got hit by the acid stuff.] [Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Don't worry, while Herpolisk acid was dangerous and known to be able to melt through armour back in 972, nowadays modern armour is more than strong enough to protect against it. She shouldn't have to worry in the least about getting hit by the stuff.]
