Alice asked the question we all wanted to know the answer to.

The God Of The Blackwoods walked out of the egg, his black robe was now green and his body seemed to have black wooden spikes growing out of it. The spikes came out of different places. They came mostly out of his torso, both from his chest and back, it seemed to form a kind of armor for his torso. Along with that, the spikes also came out of his forearms, and they seemed to form a small lance on each arm for him to use as weapons.

If this new form of his was made for close combat, I'm glad he decided to try using this while we had Lady Kina and Lady Diana on our side, since they can use their Magic to distract and possibly harm him while the frontliners attack him. Meanwhile for me..." You can still use us! Just power up with Unnie and you can fight that guy!"" You can use me too, Anna!"" But, Natty, you only boost her Magic and Magic Defenses mostly, Unnie can boost her attack!"" She can still use some of my Magic, Ethy!""

Alice didn't like my answer, but she seemed to understand it. She readied her one blade, the other must've been broken during the fighting. A shame, since she seemed quite comfortable with 2 swords. /Woosh! / With the silence that came as our enemy rose from his egg, I was able to hear the sound of the Spell completing it's process. The name of the Spell that I use to Summon the Goddesses' Manas is called "Aura Envelop", it's the first Spell that I had access to as a Divine Channeler.

And of course, it was the Goddess of Nature's Mana that I was able to use first. She quickly explained how to use Divine Channeler to me, then she quickly asked her Friends to join her in being Contracted to me. That's how I was able to form Contracts with the Goddesses of the Earth and the Goddess of the Underworld so fast. But anyways, after I use the Skill, the Aura makes a small sound that only I can hear.

The time it's taken to activate and complete the process has shortened significantly from when I started training my new Job, I have Sarah and our training sessions to thank for that. Now that it's all set, I'm ready for battle. Alice and I walked over to the others as the God Of The Blackwoods took his first steps out of the egg that he was caged in when we arrived here. I quickly dart in and try to land a kick to the side of his skull as he tries to talk down to Count Sark, but he raised his shoulder and ducked his head behind his shoulder, which made it difficult for me to land a clean blow, I still sent him flying a good distance away... Something was different. That was almost too easy. I'd say that it'd be something to worry about...

But my kick, it had little resistance even though he was pushing his weight forward to defend against Count Gorse and Count Sark... He's weak! We can win this!" He's weak! We've done good work against him! We just need to push a little more!" I quickly howl my findings to our party. This angered The God Of The Blackwoods." What!? And nothing will stop me!" /Rumble! / It did seem to make him angry, but that release of energy, it's nowhere near the violent releases he had before. I was right and he was angry because of it! I shout again for the people to use their eyes, my words seem to reignite the fire in them!

This is good, once John and Sarah also get back, we'll have an even better chance to beat him. For now though, we should aim to end this even before they get back. I'm sure we're capable of it! /WOOSH! / Lady Diana sent a gust of wind towards the God. It crashed against his body. It looked as if it almost knocked him off of his feet." Let's hit him now!" / Thump! / Alice called out to Count Gorse, Count Sark and I as she ran ahead of us to attack him. /CLUNK!

/ Alice's sword clashed with those spikes of wood that seemed to have formed a small lance on his right arm. That made me wonder what exactly his left arm was doing? There were spikes, but they were different than the spun and twisted spikes that made the lance, they were zigging and zagging, making movements I wouldn't think a spike of wood would be able to make. It made me worried, cornered animals and Monsters were usually the most dangerous of all. We need to strike hard and strike fast!

With that in my mind, I start to run at him, I'm joined by Count Gorse as well. Kick! /Thunk! Bang! / We both aimed at different parts of the body than the one that was attacked by Alice, only this time, we both were blocked. Count Gorse aimed for the left side of his torso, he wanted to stick him multiple times with his rapier, I went for the head again. A bit predicable, yes, but I know if I land clean, it'll be the end of the fight.

My kick was stopped by a growth of spikes that formed a small wall from his shoulder however. Count Gorse had the same problem, except this time it was grown from his ribs." What!?" Count Gorse yelled at the spontaneous growth, I had similar feelings." Don't you fools get it? Why would I retreat into a shell for nothing? Get away now! You disgust me!"

"!" Kick! /WHOOM! / Wooden stakes erupted from his body and threatened to pierce all of us, we all back away to dodge them. The length of the spikes seem to only be around a dagger's length. This was good, we're figuring out what to watch out for. Now though, we only need to figure out the right way to attack him to end this whole thing.
