Part 2
"Gwa!! Holy sh t, it's a Hero! I'll f cking kill you!!!!" Li Qinwu leaped from his bed in a panic, throwing a flurry of straight punches, hooks, and a sweeping kick at the empty air. He looked possessed, causing Dog-Witch to yelp and scurry into a corner, trembling as he clutched his head. After a frantic outburst, Li Qinwu finally stopped, gasping for breath. This vision was different.
It seemed to show events within the next year: a four-person Hero party venturing deep into the Monster Forest and, by themselves, completely obliterating the monster regime he had just built. The terrifying strength of those four sent Li Qinwu's heart rate skyrocketing to 180. He couldn't forget the sight of his troops melting away like snowflakes. Even when he charged in with his fearless system soldiers, they only managed to heavily wound the shield-bearing tank before he was cleaved in two by the Hero.
A wave of intense indignation washed over him. He would not let this happen! Li Qinwu pushed open the door and took a deep breath, his chest expanding like a bellows.
"HANA!!!" His roar was almost a physical shockwave, rippling through the Goblin village. After a long wait, Miss Hana, disheveled with messy hair and dark circles under her eyes, ran to him.
"What now?!" she hissed through gritted teeth. This Goblin was losing it again. She was basically his 24/7 secretary now, and the lack of sleep was about to cause a hormonal breakout. Ignoring her "death-stare," Li Qinwu spoke rapidly.
"Have you ever seen four people in the Human Kingdom? A massive hunk with a door-sized shield, a female mage with a 'huge chest,' a flat-chested tsundere Elf archer, and a short-haired 'sunny boy'..."
"Wait, aren't you describing the Hero's Party blessed by the Goddess of Life? How do you know them?" Hana blurted out before he could finish. Find this and other great novels on the author's preferred platform. Support original creators!
"That short-haired boy is Leon, the 375th Blessed of the Goddess of Life—the God's representative on Earth. The 'Hero.' Lord Leon is not only immensely powerful but also follows the virtues of chivalry. He is a gentleman renowned across the four human kingdoms, and his companions are all legends in their own right! Ahh... I saw Lord Leon from a distance once in the capital. He's so handsome..." Hana cupped her face, little hearts practically popping out of her head. Li Qinwu's expression grew darker.
So the vision was real; otherwise, the description wouldn't have matched so perfectly in reality. If the people were real, then the destruction of his forces and his own death were also highly probable future events. Li Qinwu grabbed his greatsword and pushed past the swooning Hana. He assumed a horse stance in front of a heavy roof beam outside.
"What are you doing?" Hana grumbled.
"Are you going to tear the house down?" Li Qinwu took a deep breath and slowly raised his sword. Once his strength peaked, he let out a roar and swung with everything he had. The thick beam—wide enough for a man to hug—was violently cleaved in two. Without its support, the ceramic roof tiles came crashing down. Hana scrambled out of the way, stomping her foot in anger.
"Hey! Watch it!" Li Qinwu sheathed his blade and shot her a cold look.
"Miss Hana, stop daydreaming. Your 'Lord Leon' already has a mage companion with a massive chest. She can spam fireballs and she doesn't smell. You don't stand a chance." Hana immediately fell into a gloomy funk, muttering nonsense about how "large chests are just developmental abnormalities" and "fireball spamming takes no skill." Li Qinwu ignored her and locked himself back in his room. In the vision, Hero Leon had cleaved a beam with a casual flick of his wrist.
Li Qinwu had to use a full stance, build up power, and find the perfect angle just to mimic the feat. The power gap was terrifying. How could he possibly defeat them?
"Damn it... do I really have to give up everything and run?" The God-blessed Hero was too strong; he had no unit that could match such 'over-the-top' combat power. But he couldn't bear to abandon his foundation. And who knew if the Hero party had tracking methods? What if they were coming specifically for him?
"What do I do? What do I do?!" Pacing frantically, Li Qinwu eventually succumbed to exhaustion. The Fear Spell had drained his nerves, forcing him into a deep sleep. In his dreams, he remembered a "survival bible" from a Bilibili video he'd watched in his past life:"Marksmanship is a form of magic, and ballistics is the ultimate Path. One part saltpeter, two parts sulfur, three parts charcoal—and a little sugar for a massive explosion!"
