Misha Face 6 hours ago Well, I dunno about anyone else, but for my part it's because of a few things. First, the story is well written from a technical standpoint. Good sentence structure, grammar, verb usage, etc. Makes it very easy to just roll along. Second, Natalie is incredibly likeable as a character. Her voice is engaging and entertaining. Third, the plot makes sense. At no point did I feel like anything was an ass-pull, or some kind of WOG deus ex machine. Obviously, there is some suspension of disbelief, but that's a good thing in a story! Plus, you have a good combination of wins and losses for Natalie. She wins enough that it's not a grinding slog through depression and grim-derp, and she loses enough that it makes her story entertaining. Plus, you write good intrigue. Edit: holy wall o' words, Batman. Try making a blurb out of that, lol. ...And I did.
