King Leonard decided to get to the bottom of this whole situation and decided to let his eldest son do it.

One such Talent was a boy my brother's age whose name was Kieth. He was a Commoner who got in because of his excellent grades. He was brash and somewhat rude due to his upbringing and he eventually challenged the best male student of his grade. That student was Delcan. After quite a few fights and tribulations, they became quite close. From what I understand, they were calling each other "good friends" by the end of their first school year. At the end of the year, both applied to Duke Fall's Apprenticeship.""

Once the Final Exam scores were revealed and Kieth beat Delcan's score, My Little Brother chose to refuse the Apprenticeship and instead chose to join the Military and work his way through the Ranks instead. And his "good friend" Kieth was selected for the Apprenticeship. And then My cute, but idiotic Little Brother wanted to keep this a secret from Kieth, so he chose to never answer the question, no matter who asked." I asked him for confirmation. He turned to me with a frustrated face and answered my question." He beat me fair and square... So, there we were, going over the 15 Applicants to be My Little Brother's Fiancée and then "WHOOM!", a door is slammed open and a crying girl comes rushing into the room with a look in her eyes like she had been betrayed and was about to lose something important. It was Kate.

She demanded that the selection be ended. Of course, she's like a Cute Little Sister to me, just like Char, so when I realized what this was all about, I quickly turned to my Mom who was trying to hide her smile at Kate's appearance."" Stop already! It's my turn to hear why you're embarrassed!" Delcan finally found a chance to come up for air just as the story was getting good."

So, my Mom asks why she wants the Selection cancelled, like we said before, but it bears repeating, since Our Families are quite close, we decided to hear her out... Or at least, that's what Mom told her. In reality, she was waiting for this moment. And then Kate finally says it! We waited so long, but then she finally goe-"" Mel! Let me say it!" Lady Kate interrupted Princess Melissa. Princess Melissa happily nodded to Lady Kate's request.

Lady Kate grabbed Delcan's hands and held them between her own hands and she began to speak while staring into his eyes." I realized in the first 2 weeks that I spent not speaking to you that something felt "off" in my life. The annoyance and frustration I felt, eventually turned into sadness and loneliness. Then I heard about how your Fiancée was going to be picked out and I wasn't there. When I pictured you being married to someone else...

I could feel my chest start to hurt and I couldn't stand to think about it for one moment longer. That's when I realized how I felt, I Love You! And I am going to Marry you!"" Ah..." Delcan was shocked by what Lady Kate had said. It looks like he's struggling to find the words to speak." A-Are you really sure about this?" He finally managed to say something, even though I could tell from his eyes that he was honestly confused. /WHACK! /" Hmm!"

With a slap to knock the confusion out of him and another kiss on his lips, Lady Kate seemed to have an answer for him. After some advice from Queen Crystal about not hitting her Husband, Lady Kate just turned back to Delcan who seemed to finally come back down to Gaia." Yes, I do Love You!" With Lady Kate sticking her tongue out at Delcan, I could see that Delcan was still confused, not at Lady Kate's words or actions, but his own feelings.

However, looking at the way his cheeks are lighting up now, I think it's safe to say he'll probably end up marrying Lady Kate. I just hope that slapping or blasting Spells at him is not going to be her first reaction to anything that displeases her.
