We could tell that since Angela had created a wide window that showed all 3 of the Ericssons sleeping in their marital bed. I believe she called it a "TV" once? Today was the first day back in Paradise for them, from Anna's thoughts, we could tell that they hadn't had coitus since the day before leaving Paradise. From what I could see, it was due to how busy the boy was. I've told Anna before that she needed to have him reduce his workload, but it seems like the moment he finishes one task, he picks up another. Truly, it's frustrating watching it happen. For some reason, Rivvy looked spooked for some reason? Maybe that time when she tried to manipulate John is still bearing on her mind? Regardless, Angela eventually woke up from whatever spell she was under and created chairs for us to sit in. I kept my own private thoughts about the obvious fact that Anna was the cutest of the children on that screen to myself." So, what should we discuss first, Angela?"" Wait, we're still waiting on some Guests. You can all come out now!" With her words, Angela looked to the right of our location in her domain, and we saw 12 cloaked figures with purple and black mana circulating around them. Even though someone unfamiliar with them may seem afraid, the feeling of their mana let us know immediately who they were." Here! Look! I made chairs for all of you too!"" Uhm... Thank you?" A big, burly Demon awkwardly thanked Angela as his group walked over to join us. Once all 12 of the figures sat, they removed their hoods, and we saw Demons of all different ages, colors and sizes. It was 7 men and 5 women altogether." So, who are you and what are we doing here?" A confident voice came from one of the women, she had long, deeply dark-orange hair. Angela began to explain the situation." Well, we truly aren't that sure yet? Our best guess is that all of you are allowed access into my domain because John has given a strong enough dose of his mana to both Sarah and Anna."" Wait, you mean just from them sleeping with each other, they receive mana from him? If that's the case, why haven't we shown up sooner here?" The big burly man with a crown whose frame originally stood out, spoke to us with confusion in his voice." No, you see, it's not that his mana is leaking just from being in proximity with him. Mana is transferable by bodily fluids?" Again, he was confused." Yes, it's housed in the body same as blood or bone after all, the quality and quantity of the mana is the variable. But since John has Holy Mana, it's become quite common for us to see each other. Anna's mana has already been influenced from being a Druid, even more so as a Divine Channeler, I guess now that Sarah has advanced in her Calamity Job, you 12 have also joined us."" Well, that explains that, so what are we going to do now?" An older Demon, who looked on the verge of death, asked the next question. I decided to answer him." Well, you can leave, or we can spend some time together. I mean, our Hosts always inform us of most of the things they discuss, but keep most of their more Important Marriage Talks to each other, there's no reason why we can't speak to each other a little." I hoped that they would stay, I'd like to know a bit more about them considering that Sarah will be looking to them for guidance for her Job now that she's unlocked the ability to speak to them." Well... I'm glad you'd think like that... But..."" Zzzzz..." The orange haired woman pointed out that Angela had fallen asleep on the couch that she was currently sitting on. Ethy walked over and tapped Angela on her shoulder." AH! Huh?" Angela was surprised to be awakened by Ethy... I wonder what her issue is?" Sorry... I should apologize, this is My Domain after all. I've been dealing with a few things recently that's taken quite a bit of my energy and time. Today, I finally got what I wanted though."" What was it? That you were spending so much time on it you neglected your rest, it must be something of considerable value, right?" Angela began to smile as she explained her reason for her current demeanor." Well, you see. They were able to beat back that Evil God, Blackie... I thought it would only make sense for them to receive a reward from their hard work."" Because of his idiocy, I had to argue my case with a jury of all the other Archangels and then there was a referendum for days and more and more arguing! I'll curse him... I swear I will... To try and keep him from gaining more Favor... I'll find his follower and I'll make them step in animal dung!... For at least a year... I just need to find them first!" Angela continued to mumble to herself... It may just be my imagination, but it looks like a storm cloud is gathering above her head... But I don't feel the God or my Good Friend, the Goddess of Storms, anywhere around us." Ah!" Angela seemed to snap out of her tangent and refocus on our conversation." Anyways! Through many trials and tribulations... Literally... The case I put together was able to win in the court of my peers! Also known as the Pantheon of God's Angels! And with that, I've officially won the right to bestow a Gift to John!" Angela looked really proud of her achievements, but a thought stuck out in my mind and it was asked by one of my colleagues. The Demon with the Crown on his head." What about Sarah, Ms. Archangel?"" " Angela snapped out of her euphoria as the Demon asked his question." Well... The final judgement from the Judge was that John would be allowed, as he was my Paladin, but both Sarah and Anna had no Connection to any Angel or Archangel."" But Anna has a connection to the Gods, doesn't she?"" Yes, but the Goddesses aren't us. They're of a different origin than myself or other Angels."" What?" All 12 of our new colleagues were shocked by Angela's words." You're different!? How!? You all have Divine Mana, don't you!?"" Yes, you can say that, but just as you Mortals have similar mana, aren't some stronger than others? It's sort of the same thing for us. However, the biggest difference is our origin, I'm made by my Father and Mother. The Goddesses were created from you Mortals and your Prayers to them."" So that makes you different?"" Yes, quite different, the scope of what we can do are quite different. However, I won't be able to explain everything to you, as you're simply Mortal Souls. It'll do you no good to learn it."" Why not? It would be simple just to say it wouldn't it?"" Because I would be punished and your Souls would be destroyed, and then what remains will be Reincarnated into a different person."" What?"" What else is there to say? My Father is All-Powerful and quite stern when handling rule breakers. I'd prefer for you all not to die, since you'll be useful going forward for all 3 of them." Angela looked back at the screen, John had shifted himself in his sleep, almost in response to Angela's eyes landing on him." All of us will be. Until the time comes that either we can join them, or they can join us..." Angela spoke in a gentle tone, but her eyes had a look that I couldn't make out, it seemed to harbor something dark and sticky, but at the same time, I could see genuine concern, warmth and love in them. It was a strange mix to see on the face of an Archangel with a reputation like hers.
