Chương 118: New Bottles

With all three interviews done and dusted, it was time for Big Boss Stella to retire. Speaking professionally isn't exactly difficult, it's just extremely boring! I hate using my brain to come up with difficult and complicated words! Though… It is fun to suddenly switch from corporate mode to my usual mode and seeing the person's reaction. Drug mister was completely caught off guard! Hehe! I hope he can work well though. Once I get custom bottles, I'm upping my production and market tenfold! What can I do!?

I really need the money! How else am I going to make three million? Even if Luna does help out with her gates, truthfully speaking, I don't believe she can make as much as I can in a day. That's just something production-types have the edge on. From what I know, combat-types make most of their money from high-ranked gates. Lower-ranked gates are still good for money, but, it's nowhere close to how much a production class can make.

"I'm gonna go to the AT room and train, I'll be back for dinner." Luna said, standing up.

"Okay," I nodded and hugged her, "I'll just be home, making potions." Hopefully by tonight, I'll finish her C- grade potions. There's only a few left. After I confirm all the recipes, I should be able to breeze through the creation process. After a kiss, Luna headed out and I headed to the cauldron. Right! Let's get to work! … By the next day, I had successfully completed all 9 C- buff potions. I lined them up on my counter and looked at them with a bit of pride.

"Damn you, past me!" Though they're not extremely difficult to make, it's definitely harder than D+ grade and below. Now, the materials actually fight me for control during the creation process. The only issue with these buff potions was that the recipes that had a monster core in them couldn't be made in batches and currently I had three of them. At least, I wasn't skilled enough to make them in batches yet. It was already difficult enough to fight one core at a time, but, having to fight multiple at once? Maybe when my manipulation gets better. For now, I'll just have to make them one at a time. Thankfully I can make the other potions in batches. But! That'll have to wait for later. Because now it's time to talk to drug mister and get these potion bottles made! … The call didn't even ring once before drug mister accepted it." Hi! Drug mister, can you hear me?" I asked. A second later, to my surprise, Adam had turned on his camera." Hello… I can hear you." Adam said slowly. I stared at him with a wide mouth. What surprised me wasn't that he was exceptionally handsome or ugly, rather, how exhausted he looked! Adam had scruffy, curly black hair and a five o'clock shadow. His face was skinny and had dark bags under his brown eyes. He didn't look as exhausted as Nero did, but, I could tell this guy hadn't slept all night! He wore square, thick-framed glasses that covered the upper half of his face. A collared, loose white button-up shirt covered his chest. There were so many wrinkles on it, I could assume he crumpled it into a ball before uncrumpling it and putting it on. I couldn't see his lower half so I assumed he was either in his underwear or wearing shorts." You look tired." I commented after taking in his appearance. What's with me and meeting people who look exhausted lately?" I stayed up a bit late." He said after a moment." Stayed up or didn't sleep?" I asked." The first one." He said." You said that you wanted designs of a raccoon and a mouse embossed into them, right?"" That's right," I said, "Today, I wanted to talk to you about that and also the contract."" Well um…" He paused and reached for something off camera, a moment later he brought a notebook into frame, "I actually started making some designs as soon as the call ended. I'll send you a picture of them now."" Wait, what? You… Already did them…?" I hesitantly asked, my jaw dropped." Just some preliminary designs…" He said with a yawn. A moment later, pictures of the pages in his notebook were sent. The first photo had a sketched outline of a small bottle with a large base that funneled inward towards the top. On the side of the body, there was a small raccoon drinking a potion on it. Honestly, it looked extremely cute. Without even discussing it further, I was almost ready to accept this design immediately. The second photo had a sketched outline of the same bottle but instead of having a raccoon drinking a potion at the base, it had a mouse. Just like the previous design, this one was also extremely cute! I need it!! And I need it now! But, before I could speak, I looked at the third picture sent. This one had a design of a mouse and raccoon sitting next to each other, they were leaning against each other and a small campfire was in front of them. Oh… My… Goodness… I need these immediately!!!" Y-You made these overnight?" I asked, my voice higher pitched than normal." Yes… Although I can understand why you'd want a raccoon in the design, I didn't know what the mouse means, so I just used my own interpretation. These were just preliminary designs, we can discuss it-""These are perfect!" I cut in, "I like them a lot! I can't think of a better design than you did. Honestly, I actually want all of them! Is that possible?"" Haha… Funny you say that because, if you take a look…" He moved the camera down and showed three small glass bottles, "I made prototypes of each one so you'd know exactly what you'd get." … Oh my goodness, no wonder this guy is exhausted! He spent all night designing and making prototypes! This guy's dedicated!" I'll send you a trade request so you can inspect them directly." He said.
