The girl sat upright, glaring at the world ahead of her. As the first rays of dawn began to fill in the estate, and the figure before her froze in place. As their eyes met, the girl turned glancing to her side, and there she found a void.

"So, you have chosen death."

"Dear," called the voice, oppressing heavily upon her shoulder.

"I am new to speaking Aswadic."

"You are not new to speaking Aldish."

"…"

"A thousand and one apologies."

"Do you think because you are cute I will forgive you?"

"You're right, of course."

"Of coas," came the echo. It was under the morning rays in which even the troublemaker decided against speaking up, instead, she watched as her father carried the large sack over his shoulders, jogging around the perimeter of the estate, until finally noticing his wife and children, dropping down the sack, flexing his muscles.

"Oh, why are you all up so early?"

"Daddy, you think because you look so cool when you training I will forgive you?" Jirot asked.

"I look cool?" Adam replied, reaching up to his chin, an unforgivably foolish smile upon his lips.

"Mummy, you must tell him, mummy," Jirot grumbled, rubbing her sleepy eyes with the back of her fingers.

"Shall we clean up and go pray?" Vonda asked. Jurot dropped the log, and flexed his muscular physique, all the while little Jarot peeked up towards him, causing the boy to flush lightly.

"Sure, I was just about to finish my workout, but I can finish it now."

"Daddy, half measures are no good, for you should measure twice and cut once."

"I'm not sure that's how it goes, but if my daughter wants me to finish my workout, I can."

"What should you do before you workout?" Jirot stood before her father. She reached up her hand, and clasped her hand into a fist.

"D-dear!" Adam choked.

"Not in front of mummy." Jirot glanced aside to her mother, who raised her brow, and the girl released her imaginary technique, which apparently they wielded when they would war among the stars.

"It's always about washing hands with you, daddy."

"Hygiene is important!"

"Huu!" Jirot clenched her fists tight, and then rushed away to go wash her hands along with her siblings, and upon her return she grabbed at the sack, and tried to lift it, but gave up almost immediately, because it was too heavy. However, thankfully, her father handed her a bundle of fur the girl could carry and as she strapped it upon her back, mostly thanks to her father, she began to run, only for her father to clear his throat, and she returned to a walk.

Once she had finished a lap, she was allowed to begin to jog the next lap, until she ran the next lap. Thankfully, by the time she was done, her anger had dissipated into the air, as she squat down with her siblings.

"Papo, you are so good at training," little Jarot said, holding up his thumbs up. Jurot flexed his muscles, his ears turning red slightly.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Mm! I slept good, papo. You slept good, papo?"

"I slept well," Jurot confirmed.

"You are so good at sleeping, papo." Jarot, once more, held up a thumbs up.

"What of I, Jarot?" Chosen asked, while Tanagek and Kitool assisted the children in their morning training as they had completed their own.

"You try so hard, papo." Chosen held little Jarot's eyes, the two side eyeing one another lightly, smirking between one another.

"You are your sister's brother." Jarot cackled. As the children finished their training, a shadow formed over them, and though they were about to cry out, instead, the children clasped their fist within their palm.

"Elder Jaygak!" they greeted. Jaygak smiled, and as she reached down to take their hands one by one, and her eyes fell to the Iyrmen nearby in a way which suggested something to them, and as her eyes met Adam's, he noted the darkness within them.

"Let's go bathe and get ready for breakfast," Adam said, and as he took the children away, Jaygak spoke with the other Iyrmen, and once they were done with their baths, and breakfast was being cooked, the elderly noted how the children were all awake, though seeing how boisterous they were, they calmed their hearts. Adam followed the Elder, the half elf carrying his axe at his side, though was once more adorned in the Iyr's clothing.

"What happened?" Adam asked.

"Two of the three forts surrendered," Jaygak said, with a tone which suggested her displeasure.

"I'm glad two of the forts were wise."

"We assumed one would surrender, though we were certain to send a great many figures, just in case."

"So, that third fort…"

"Not a single soldier breathes," Jaygak replied, her tone cold.

"What a shame they didn't surrender."

"As a Chosen of Baktu, should you not wish for the others to have fought too?"

"I am my wife's husband, after all," Adam replied, and now that he had returned to the Iyr, a calmness took him, and as he considered how he had behaved in front of the others, he flushed lightly.

'Seriously, why am I so cringe?'

"We are to imprison them within the fortress at the border, that which overlooks Wester."

"Ah? Wester?"

"The name of the village."

"Oh. You know what, I don't think I've ever heard the name of the village before. What are the other two?"

"It is Lipetal first, then Sev, then Wester."

"I think I heard about the other two villages."

"The villages have a few names each, though they are most well known, considering how unknown the villages are."

"Oh…" Adam slowly nodded his head.

"When you say imprison, how many decent ones did you manage to capture?"

"A few. Mountain Tiger of the North, who is at least a Grandmaster, and Advisor Sword, who is the same."

"I thought Advisor Sword was an Aswadian?"

"… Scholar Sword?"

"Aaaah." Adam slowly nodded his head.

"Right."

"Ah, although greater figures will step into the Front Iyr in the afternoon."

"Oh? Who?" Jaygak smiled.
