Chương 90: End of Book Jitters

Good morning all.. I was going to post this after tomorrow, as tomorrow (spoiler) marks the end of the book (gitty with excitement). There's five more chapters to release today, and then the Epilogue tomorrow and that's the finish line for this book... Lets be honest, for my first book, I know that I write and sound like a noob, and I 100% am. I've learned a great deal about the writing process and I'm continuing to learn more everyday as I keep on going.

I'm just super excited that this book is finished and I can now literally say that I have written a book (bucket list check)... Can I say I'm a published author? No... Can I say I'm a successful author? Still no LOL.. But was I successful in completing a novel... Hard maybe LOL I think the last one is a little subjective. What I would like your feedback on, now that this project is wrapping up, is; What do I do now? LOL Seriously tho..

I'm not 100% sure about Royal Road's algorithms on how they put books out there for people to read, other than the books that people have recently updated or have paid advertisements for. One comment I received was from someone that said they saw my book as an ad any they were "glad"... (awesomeness)... But do I keep on going with the second book and post as I go? Or do I wait a bit and see if the book builds up a little traction before I start posting the second book.

Ultimately, I would like to get this book published with the end goal of having it narrated on Audible by Travis Baldree (outlandishly high hopes I know).. But it was Travis Baldree that actually informed me about Royal Road when I first started this journey a few years ago. Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. What I have noticed in the over 500 books I've listened to on Audible and read on Kindle unlimited, is that in the descriptions, they always state "millions of views on Royal Road" how is that accomplished without paid adds? But anyways (I digress) Let me know what you think. I would really love to know how you all want me to continue, and lets face it, "IF" you want me to continue... I mean...

I'm going to continue as I've already started the second book and I'm a completionist;) As I am in a quasi-retired state, I have had the time to start on book two and I work on it a little bit everyday. As of right now I am roughly 19 chapters in and over 33K words written. Looking forward to hearing from ya'll.. thanks for reading. DJ
