Krystal flew through the forest until she reached a massive flower towering above the surrounding trees. She landed gently on top of it.
"Captain King! Guildmaster Benkay!" Two fairies turned toward her. One had blonde, curly hair and bright green eyes. The other had red hair and yellow eyes. The red-haired fairy, Benkay, stepped forward.
"Krystal? What's the matter?" Krystal landed beside them.
"It's about the two people we saved. They're both awake, and I've informed them about our situation to an extent." Benkay raised an eyebrow.
"Only an extent?"
"I only told them that we needed their help. I think you should be the one to explain the rest." Benkay nodded.
"Alright. I'll go." He suddenly paused.
"Wait a minute... where's Max?" Krystal blinked.
"Max?" Benkay looked toward King.
"We need to introduce the Fairy Guard Trio! You, King, and him. All together!" Krystal stared at him blankly.
"There's really no need for that." Benkay grinned.
"Oh, don't be like that. Go find Max while I fill our new friends in. Then boom! We make a powerful introduction." He spread his arms dramatically.
"What do you think?" King immediately clapped his hands.
"That's a wonderful idea, Master! That's sure to grab their attention and make them think we're really cool!" Krystal sighed.
"Don't encourage him..." She turned toward King.
"Alright, you do you. Come on, King. Let's go find Max." King nodded enthusiastically.
"Alright! I wonder where he could be?" The two flew off together, leaving Benkay standing on the giant flower. Benkay smiled.
"Alright then... time to meet our guests." Benkay leapt from the giant flower and zipped through the forest, following the path toward Ace and Amelia. When he arrived, he immediately spotted them. Amelia was curled up on the ground, hugging her knees while staring nervously at the grass. Ace sat beside her with a completely deadpan expression.
"You okay?"
"No." Ace sighed.
"It's one bug, Amelia."
"It could have friends." Before Ace could respond, something caught his attention in the air.
"What's that?" A figure descended from above and landed softly on the ground. Benkay. Ace immediately noticed the enormous amount of magic radiating from him. Amelia felt it too. The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Her eyes widened.
"That magic..." Ace looked at her.
"Yeah." Amelia stared at Benkay.
"It's massive. It's like Thomas' magic... but even stronger." Benkay blinked.
"Ah, so you picked up on my magic." He rubbed the back of his head.
"I forgot to suppress it. My mistake." He stepped forward and struck a dramatic pose.
"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Benkay, Guild Master and Supervisor of the Fairy Guard!" Amelia and Ace simply stared at him.
"..."
"..." Benkay slowly lowered his pose.
"Okay... maybe that was a little corny." He cleared his throat.
"But that's enough about me. What are your names?" Amelia stood up.
"I'm Amelia." Ace nodded.
"And I'm Ace. We're from the Voyagers Guild." Benkay's eyes lit up.
"Ah! Thomas' guild." Amelia tilted her head.
"You know Thomas?"
"Yeah. In a way, we're colleagues." Ace raised an eyebrow.
"Colleagues?" Benkay nodded.
"We're part of the Five Grand Masters."
"The Five Grand Masters?" Amelia repeated.
"Yep. We're the five strongest people in Japan who work directly under the Shogun, the leader of the entire country." He looked at them.
"Wait... you're telling me you don't know about this?" Benkay stared at them in disbelief.
"Holy... you two seriously lack basic knowledge." Ace immediately pointed at him.
"HEY! It's not our fault the old man never told us!" Benkay raised his hands.
"Alright, alright! Relax." He chuckled.
"Anyways, that's pretty much it." Benkay pulled a small device from his pocket.
"Now then, I'll contact your guild master. Shall we?" He activated the Communication Naxallite.
"Contact: ID 875630." The Naxallite began glowing. A familiar voice came through.
"Benkay... why are you calling me?" Benkay smiled.
"Well, well. Sounds like you're in a bad mood." Thomas sighed.
"I just got a hole put through the wall by one of my foolish guild members. So I guess that's a good reason." Benkay laughed.
"What a destructive guild you have."
"Indeed."
"But I need you to bring everyone to my location." Thomas paused.
"That sounds urgent. You need this old man's help? Can't handle it yourself?" He chuckled. Benkay grinned.
"It's not that. I just thought your team could use the experience." Thomas went silent.
"Why you..." He sighed.
"Fine. I'm on my way. I'll bring the rest of them." Benkay smiled.
"Well, Amelia and Ace are already here, just so you know." Thomas paused.
"Alright. Then that leaves Tony and Mochi."
"Exactly."
"We'll be there soon."
"Alright! Bye!" The call ended. Ace stared at Benkay.
"You really know how to get under the old man's skin." Benkay laughed.
"I've had practice."
"I've never heard Thomas sound like that before." Benkay smiled nostalgically.
"Let's just say we go way back."
"How far back?" Amelia asked.
"About fifty years." Amelia's eyes widened.
"Fifty years?!" She looked him up and down.
"How old are you?" Benkay laughed.
"I'm not that old." He held up a finger.
"In fairy years, I'm about twenty." Ace blinked.
"Twenty?"
"Yep." Benkay smiled.
"But in human years, that's roughly one hundred and fifty." Amelia's jaw dropped.
"WHAT?" Benkay chuckled.
"We age about five times slower than humans." Amelia stared at him in amazement.
"That's so cool!" Benkay suddenly smirked.
"It's time.."
"ALRIGHT! COME ON OUT, THE FAIRY GUARD TRIO!" He pointed dramatically toward the sky. Ace and Amelia looked upward. Three figures emerged from the trees above, descending through the air before landing gracefully on the ground in front of them. Amelia's eyes widened. Ace raised an eyebrow. Benkay stepped forward, practically radiating excitement.
"First up... the pink fairy of grace and elegance! The beauty who can make flowers bloom simply by walking past them!" A pink-haired fairy stepped forward and struck an elegant pose.
"IT'S KRYSTAL!" Krystal smiled softly and gave a graceful little wave.
"Hello." Benkay immediately pointed toward the next figure.
"And next! The absolute powerhouse! The mountain of muscle! The man whose raw strength rivals that of ONE HUNDRED RHINOS!" A massive fairy stepped forward.
"THE MIGHTY MAX!" Max grinned confidently.
"Yo." Benkay's excitement somehow increased.
"This man doesn't just break boulders! HE MAKES THEM QUESTION WHY THEY WERE EVER BORN!" Max flexed his arm.
"And finally..." Benkay slowly turned toward the last member.
"The captain himself! The tactical genius! The ultimate support-type warrior who can heal his allies, protect his comrades, AND PACK A PUNCH HARD ENOUGH TO SEND AN ENEMY FLYING!" The final fairy stepped forward.
"IT'S KING!" King casually waved.
"Hey there." Ace and Amelia stared at the three of them.
"..."
"..." Benkay's grin remained frozen.
"Uh..." He looked between them.
"This is the moment where you tell us how awesome we are." Amelia blinked.
"That was pretty lame, sorry..." Benkay's grin immediately faltered. Ace nodded.
"Yeah.... Do us a favor and never do that again." Benkay's eyes widened.
"..." He slowly dropped to his knees. Then collapsed face first onto the ground.
"My introduction..." Krystal sighed.
"See? I told you, Master." Benkay grovelled against the dirt.
"But did they have to be so brutal?!" Max walked over and patted him on the back.
"Don't worry, Master. There'll be other people who think our introduction is awesome!" Benkay slowly lifted his head.
"You're right, Max!" He jumped back to his feet.
"These are merely TWO people!" He pointed dramatically toward the sky.
"WE HAVE THE WORLD!" Benkay suddenly froze.
"Hold on a minute..." He slowly turned toward Max.
"Where were you the whole time?" Max scratched the back of his head.
"Ah... I was out doing my daily meditation." Benkay's eye twitched.
"Your... daily meditation?" Max nodded.
"Yep." Benkay stared at him.
"Well, next time, TELL ME!" He threw his hands into the air.
"You almost ruined our introduction!" Max winced.
"Sorry, Master." Benkay sighed deeply.
"Anyways..." He looked toward the forest.
"I guess all we can do now is wait." His shoulders slumped.
"My day is officially ruined." Krystal covered her mouth, trying not to laugh. King simply stood there awkwardly. Ace looked at Amelia. Amelia looked back at Ace. Neither of them knew what to say. Max smiled.
"Cheer up, Master." Benkay groaned.
"I'm trying, Max."
"Should we do the introduction again?"
"ITS TOO LATE FOR THAT NOW!!!"
"Right..." The Fairy Guard Trio stood silently. Benkay crossed his arms.
"... Man... I really thought that was going to be cool."
"Well anyways, this is the fairy guard trio""They are the three strongest members in our guild of seven""Im not inculded if you're wondering.. because I oversee the guild making sure these guys don't get into any trouble.." Benkay sighed..
"Im just gonna go.." He turned and left...
