Hours passed as the bullet train raced across Japan. Eventually, the train began to slow down.
"Attention, passengers. We have arrived at the Fairy Quadrant." The doors opened. Mochi was the first one out. He stepped onto the platform and immediately stretched his arms above his head.
"Finally!" He looked around in amazement.
"So this is the Fairy Kingdom?" Behind him, Ace stepped out with Tony following closely behind. Amelia came next, followed by Thomas, Benkay, King, Krystal, and Max. King stepped onto the platform and took a deep breath.
"Ahhh..." He smiled warmly.
"It's nice to be back home." He looked toward Krystal and Max.
"Ain't that right, you guys?" Krystal looked around the station.
"Well, it has been a while indeed." Max nodded.
"Yep." Mochi looked around. The station was nothing like Azuma Station. Instead of towering steel structures and neon advertisements, the entire station seemed to have been built around nature itself. Massive flowers grew from the walls and ceiling, their petals glowing softly with magical energy. Vines wrapped around elegant wooden pillars. Small floating lights drifted through the air like fireflies. Even the platforms were made from smooth, polished wood surrounded by patches of grass and flowers.
Ace looked down at his hands.
"... Wait." He clenched his fist.
"I can feel my magic energy increasing at a faster rate." He looked around suspiciously.
"What's up with this place?" Benkay smirked.
"So you noticed." He gestured toward the surrounding station.
"You see, in the Fairy Quadrant, every living organism regenerates magic around twice as fast compared to the other quadrants." Ace's eyes widened slightly.
"Twice as fast?" Benkay nodded.
"Exactly." He spread his arms.
"That's why this place adopted another name." He grinned.
"The Land of Restoration." Ace looked around again.
"I see..." Amelia took a deep breath.
"I feel so fuzzy and calm here." She smiled.
"I love this place already." Thomas chuckled.
"Seems like the Fairy Quadrant agrees with you." The group continued through the station before finally reaching the main exit. The doors opened. Mochi stopped dead in his tracks.
"Whoa..." The Fairy Quadrant stretched before them. The entire city was surrounded by enormous fields of flowers. Brilliant flowers of every shape and size grew alongside the roads, on rooftops, around buildings, and even along the sides of bridges. Some flowers were so massive that entire houses had been built inside their petals. Others floated through the air, gently drifting between buildings. The architecture itself blended perfectly with nature.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon. Crystal windows were surrounded by vines, wooden walkways connected buildings, and streams of glowing water flowed through the streets. But what caught Mochi's attention the most was the transportation. Instead of cars, buses, or trains... People rode enormous flowers. Some looked like giant tulips with seats built into the center. Others resembled floating lilies that gently carried passengers through the air.
Several flower shaped vehicles drifted along magical roads, propelled by glowing pollen. Mochi's eyes practically sparkled.
"WHAT?!" Benkay pointed toward the streets.
"Over there is the Flower Transport." He gestured toward the massive flower vehicles.
"It's primarily used by foreigners or anyone who can't fly." King immediately raised his hand.
"Master Benkay, please!" Benkay looked at him.
"What?" King pointed toward the flower transports.
"They're super fun!" Benkay sighed.
"Now, now, King." He folded his arms.
"There's really no point. We can all fly." Thomas chuckled.
"Alright..." He looked toward the flower transports.
"What could be so bad about doing a little sightseeing?" Benkay looked at him.
"You too?" Thomas shrugged.
"Why not?" King's face lit up.
"Yay! Yay! Yay!" Krystal sighed.
"King, you're acting like a kid." King grinned sheepishly.
"Sorry." He rubbed the back of his head.
"I'm just excited, that's all." Mochi suddenly jumped in.
"Me too! Me too!" King looked at him.
"You get it!" Mochi nodded enthusiastically.
"Yeah!" He pointed toward the flower vehicles.
"I wanna see this Flower Transport! Is it good?" King's grin widened.
"Hell yeah!" Krystal sighed.
"Not him too..." Benkay looked around at the excited group. He sighed.
"Alright then." He pointed toward the road.
"Let's go through the Flower Transport System." Everyone raised their voices.
"YEAH!" With that, the group made their way through the colorful streets of the Fairy Quadrant, heading toward the enormous flower transport station. Mochi practically bounced with excitement.
"I wonder what kind of flower we're gonna ride!" King laughed.
"You're gonna love it!" Ace shook his head.
"You two are way too excited about a taxi." Mochi looked at him.
"It's a FLOWER taxi!" Ace stared at him.
"... That doesn't make it better." Tony's tail wagged.
"I think it sounds pretty cool." Ace sighed.
"Great. Now there's three of you." The group continued onward, surrounded by the vibrant beauty of the Fairy Kingdom. The group flew toward the Flower Transport area. As they descended, they spotted a large wooden building surrounded by enormous flowers. Several flower shaped vehicles were parked around the area, gently floating above the ground. A man standing near the entrance noticed them.
"Hello there, Benkay!" Benkay immediately recognized him.
"Honns! My man!" He grinned.
"It's been too long!" Honns laughed.
"So, what brings you here?" Benkay gestured toward the group behind him.
"Well, you know..." He pointed toward Mochi, Amelia, Ace, Tony, Thomas, King, Krystal, and Max.
"I've got some foreigners with me who are quite desperate to try out the transportation system." Mochi raised his hand.
"Very desperate!" Honns chuckled.
"Ah, I see." He scratched his chin.
"Well, just for you, I'll give you guys fifty percent off." Benkay's eyes widened.
"Really?" Honns nodded.
"Yeah." His expression became more serious.
"To be honest... our sales have been declining ever since RobogeneX made their way into the capital." He glanced toward the city.
"Nobody wants to travel there anymore because they risk running into them." Benkay's expression became determined.
"Well, that's why we're here." He clenched his fist.
"To put a stop to them once and for all!" Honns's eyes widened.
"Really?!" He smiled.
"Just as I expected from our Grandmaster!" Honns suddenly noticed Thomas standing nearby. He froze.
"Hold on a second..." He squinted.
"You're..." His eyes widened.
"Thomas Dreyfus!" Everyone looked toward him.
"The Third Shogun... and also a current Grandmaster!" Thomas simply smiled.
"That's right." Honns looked back toward Benkay.
"Is RobogeneX really that strong?"
"Both of you are needed to defeat him?" Benkay shrugged.
"Well..." He pointed toward the Voyagers and Fairy Guard.
"We aren't the ones who are going to beat him." Honns blinked.
"... Huh?" Benkay grinned.
"Those guys are." He pointed toward the group. Honns stared at them.
"Them?" Benkay nodded.
"They're members of our guild." Honns looked them over.
"Ohhh... your guild." He smiled confidently.
"I assume they're close to your level, then." He crossed his arms.
"So this should be a walk in the park!" Benkay's smile became awkward.
"Not at all." Honns's smile disappeared.
"... What?" He pointed toward the group.
"Well, do they at least have some powerful one shot attacks?" Benkay nodded.
"They're strong indeed." Honns relaxed slightly.
"Well that's one good thing..." Benkay continued.
"But I remember my team fighting RobogeneX before." Honns leaned forward.
"And?" Benkay shrugged.
"They got their asses handed to them." He started laughing.
"It was pretty funny, actually. You should've seen it!" Silence. Honns stared at him.
"..." His smile slowly disappeared.
"I see." He took a deep breath.
"So we're dead?" Ace looked toward Benkay.
"He didn't even try to hold back, did he?" Amelia crossed her arms.
"We're right here, you know." Benkay waved his hands.
"Don't lose hope!" He looked toward the group.
"You're underestimating their abilities." Honns stared at him in disbelief.
"Benkay!" He pointed toward the Fairy Guard.
"You just told me they lost before!" His voice rose.
"Are you mad?!" He gestured toward the capital.
"Fighting RobogeneX again will just result in the same outcome!" Benkay smiled confidently.
"Trust the process, man." He gave Honns a thumbs up.
"Don't be so negative!" Honns stared at him.
"..." He sighed.
"You know what?" He reached behind the counter.
"I trust you." He handed Benkay the tickets.
"Here you go." Benkay took them.
"Hey, thanks!" He turned toward everyone.
"Alright, guys! Let's go!" Everyone nodded. They followed Benkay toward one of the enormous flower vehicles. Mochi's eyes widened as they approached.
"Woah!" The flower opened its enormous petals, revealing a comfortable seating area inside.
"This is amazing!" Mochi immediately climbed inside.
"This thing is fricking HUGE!" Amelia followed him.
"This is actually really cute." Tony jumped inside next.
"I call this seat!" Ace followed.
"It's just a flower." Tony looked at him.
"Stop ruining the fun." King hopped inside with a grin.
"See? I told you it was fun!" Krystal sighed.
"Honestly..." Max sat down comfortably.
"Not bad." Thomas chuckled as he took his seat.
"I'll admit, this is rather interesting." Benkay stepped inside last.
"Alright, everyone!" He took a seat near the front.
"Just sit tight and enjoy!" The flower's petals slowly closed around them. A magical glow appeared beneath the vehicle. Then.. FWOOOOOSH! The enormous flower gently lifted into the air. Mochi's eyes sparkled.
"WE'RE FLYING!" King laughed.
"See?!" Amelia looked out through the petals.
"This is actually really peaceful." Tony's ears perked up.
"I could get used to this." Ace leaned back.
"Not bad." Krystal smiled.
"It's certainly been a while since I've ridden one." Max nodded.
"Same." Thomas looked out toward the city.
"Quite nostalgic if you ask me, it's like a mystical version of Azuma." Benkay grinned.
"See? It was worth the fifty percent discount!" Meanwhile, Honns remained standing at the transport station, watching the flower disappear into the distance. His smile slowly faded.
"Does Benkay really believe in them?" He crossed his arms.
"I've always known him as a 'do now, think later' kind of guy..." Honns looked toward the distant capital.
"But our home is at stake." His expression became concerned.
"Surely..." He sighed.
"He has a plan up his sleeve."
