After some time traveling, I reached the next battlefield where Maria was fighting. Her opponent was a lot weaker than what I fought before, but was still a challenge for Maria, as her enemy was at level 1053. Maria, using her higher-level skill to her advantage, has been holding off the enemy all this time and has kept the battlefield stable. Since I arrived, I began to do my part as I rushed towards Maria, intending to kill the enemy she was facing.
Before the enemy could react, I made a quick slash and ended the confrontation. Maria collapsed from exhaustion, as she seemed to have fought the enemy for a long time before I arrived. Maria asked, "Can you take care of the rest? I need to rest and can't continue." I replied, "Don't worry, I can handle it." I started to clean the battlefield of enemies, as many invaders were still coming even after their leader died.
After another lengthy amount of time killing Magical Continent invaders, I left to the next battlefield, as Maria was now rested and could take care of the rest. I then repeated the process at the next two destinations. The first was where Shiro had gone to help Nao. The other was where Claire was. Both of these battlefields also had opponents at a similar level, and it was easy for me to resolve.
After a few days of killing the rest of the invaders, it appeared the invasion on the Human Continent had come to an end, as no more enemies were coming. I also received a report on the Demonic Continent that Lucy had a few invaders, but they were too weak to cause them any damage. Since the invasion was now over, it was time to move on to the next part of my plan, which was to go to the Magical Continent to take revenge.
If I left the Magical Continent alone, eventually they would regain their power and attack again, which I didn't want to happen in the future. After telling everyone about the plan, I left them on the Human Continent to clean up after the invasion and protect the continent from any lingering threats. Along with myself, I took the two captives I had to lead the way, as it was apparently very far to reach the Magical Continent.
Since it was so far, Shiro and Akane built me a motorized speedboat to speed up the process so it wouldn't take a year to reach the Magical Continent. Due to this and some guidance in direction from my captives, I arrived on the Magical Continent after three weeks of nonstop travel on my boat. Once I arrived, I used the both of them to lead the way, as I wasn't familiar with the Magical Continent and needed directions to go to the capital to face off against the king who was causing everything.
As they led the way, I saw all kinds of strange things I've never seen before, as this was indeed a magical continent, as these people used magic for everything. Rather than electricity, they used magic to power everything, and if you didn't know they were using magic, you would assume this place had reached the modern age. I didn't pay it much mind, as this wasn't what I came for, as I've already seen similar things when using normal technology on Earth.
We continued on with our journey, as the Magic Continent was very huge and there was no faster way of reaching the capital, as I still needed to be led the way to reach my destination. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. After another week of travel using various means, I finally arrived at the capital, which was an enormous city that even had skyscrapers. I was amazed by the level of development of the Magical Continent, despite being a country of faith.
Since I was finally here, I no longer played around and got down to business. I asked my captives where the king lived, and after finding out the exact direction, I left for the tallest building in the city. At the largest building, there were guards at the front entrance, but they were so low-level that I didn't care, so I just walked in front of them. Before they could say anything to keep me away, I knocked them away and slammed them into the nearby buildings.
The pedestrians who saw this began calling for help and were shocked by my display out of nowhere. Due to their calls, more people came down from the big building. This time, there were some strong people among them who had reached level 200s. It still didn't matter as I started to break my way inside. Every wave of enemies that came, it didn't take me long to deal with them, as they were still far below my level.
As I didn't feel like committing mass genocide, I didn't kill them, so they could spread the word later not to mess with me. The building was very tall, and I had to climb floor after floor as I had to constantly fight off waves of enemies. It took a very long time to make my way to the top due to all the people in this building. After leaving a long trail of unconscious people, I finally made it to the uppermost floor that contained a few empty rooms and a large room that was closed.
I could tell it was the king inside, as this was the most important room out of all the ones in the building. I originally imagined the king to actually be an old-fashioned ruler, but after seeing all the advancements in the city, my view had changed. I now wondered what the king would look like, considering the city looked so modern. I kicked open the door, ready to finally confront the king of the Magical Continent.
Once the door was smashed open, the person who appeared before me was an old-looking man who could pass as corporate high management on Earth with his suit and tie. This king looked like he was made for management rather than for fighting, but looks can be deceiving, as despite his professional attire, he was at level 4120. This meant he had seen his fair share of combat in his life.
Still, considering his level made me wonder why everyone on the Magical Continent had such a high level, unlike the Human Continent, which had significantly lower levels. Perhaps due to them being unified by one king, they progressed a lot faster with the help of their god supporting them. I have run into my fair share of gods and know that they can make people grow fast, so it could make sense why their level was so high.
The king, seeing I had intruded into his office, was slightly perplexed on how I managed to make it so far. Coming up the building had a lot of strong enemies that weren't easy to fight against. The king asked curiously, "Who are you and why have you come all this way here to cause trouble?" Noticing the king was reasonable, I wondered if I should change my plan, as maybe we could reach a consensus for him to not invade again.
Wondering about the possibility, I replied, "I am from the Human Continent, which you have invaded. I am here to solve the problem from the root so that there won't be any more invaders in the future." The king was surprised, "You are from the Human Continent? If that's the case, then it seems the invasion has failed and my soldiers have died." I asked my own question, "Now that you know, what are you going to do about it?" The king calmly replied, "I suppose you are here to kill me for all that I've done."
I stated, "If you surrender right now, then we can still resolve this peacefully." The king's expression changed from my suggestion, as he was no longer as emotionless as when we first started talking. The king fully got up from his chair and stated, "I am a king and will not surrender to you. If you want to fight, then let's fight it out to determine the winner and who is the rightful ruler of both continents." Noticing a fight was indeed inevitable, I stopped talking and prepared to begin another battle.
I originally wanted to resolve this peacefully, as the king seemed like someone to reason with, but I was wrong. The king now approached me as he intended not to talk anymore either, as he wanted to settle this with a fight. The king took off his tie and began to adopt his own fighting posture, as he didn't intend to back down either. The sight of this was rather strange, as an old man in a suit was asking me for a fight, which I've never seen before.
Despite this strange feeling, I didn't mind fighting this old man if it meant bringing peace to the Human Continent and preventing further invaders. After a short pause between us as we were looking for an opening, we began the fight to determine the future.
